Basics of DevOps

DevOps is a software development method that stresses collaboration between Software Developers (Dev) and Business Operations (Ops). Nowadays every project or company in software industry is incorporating DevOps principles and expect the teammates to be aware of the same.

This introductory course covers the basic concepts of DevOps along with real time examples.

Contents of the course are as below:

1. Basics of DevOps: Comparison with traditional approach, DevOps definition, key pointers and goals
2. DevOps Phases: Discusses Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment. It also lists the various tools and technologies used in different phases along with common DevOps myths.
3. Characteristics of DevOps Team: Expectations of a DevOps Team member and the project process to be followed in DevOps model.
4. RoadMap to DevOps: Learning Path for a beginner to start DevOps in real time projects.
5. Quiz: DevOps concepts related quiz which tests the knowledge gained in above topics.

Approach is to explain in conversational Kannada to reinforce the learning and for better understanding.
