Introduces the Basic Concepts and Terms of Banking

Contents of the course are as below

1. Introduction

This module covers the meaning of Banking, Banks and brief introduction of all the Types of Banks like Retail banks, Commercial banks, Investment banks and the Central bank. This module also covers the history of Banking in India.

2. How to open a Bank Account ?

This module covers the steps and documents needed to open a Bank Account and also covers the procedures to follow in order to open a bank account if you are under 18 years of age.

3. Savings Account

In this module we have covered the basics of Savings Account, features and the minimum balance to maintain in this account along with the rate of interest the account holder gets.

4. Current Account

In this module we have covered the basics of Current Account, features and the minimum balance to maintain in this account along with the rate of interest the account holder gets.

5. Salary Account

In this module we have covered the basics of Salary Account, features and the minimum balance to maintain in this account along with the rate of interest the account holder gets.

6. NRI Account

In this module we have covered the basics of NRI Account, features and the minimum balance to maintain in this account along with the rate of interest the account holder gets and the types of NRI.accounts.

7. RD Account

This module explains the basics of a Recurring Deposit Account and its features along with the different tenor periods in which the account can be opened.

8. Fixed Deposit Account

This module explains the basics of a Fixed Deposit Account, features and the different tenor periods in which we can deposit our money in an FD account along with the rate of interest the account holder gets.

9. Net Banking

In this module we have covered the use of Net banking and the advantages of Net banking. We  have also explained the procedures to avail the Net banking facility.

10. Card Payments

In this module we have explained the meaning of Debit and Credit cards, the features and uses of card payments.

11. UPI payments

We have explained the meaning of UPI, the benefits of UPI and procedures for registering for UPI.
